Meet Allison! She is our people-focused Client Care Coordinator, who stepped with aplomb into a role we created specifically to complete the Romer Maud team.
Allison’s role as client care coordinator sees her acting as the first point of contact for clients. While any moment in the separation journey can bring out our vulnerability, the first time a person calls a law firm to talk about their needs can be overwhelming.
We wanted to have a warm, encouraging team member in place who could be a source of comfort and reassurance, uplifting and helping our clients through a challenging moment, or helping them to celebrate their wins, no matter how big or small. When we found Allison, everything fell into place.
Allison’s ability to connect with others is truly fabulous. She speaks and listens with care, kindness and sensitivity. With her interest in family law, an aptitude for admin and a love of people, Allison brings a gentle, calm energy that puts clients at ease. Allison has a first-hand understanding of what it is like to go through separation and solo parenting.
Prior to joining Romer Maud Family Lawyers, her career has seen her work predominantly in the legal industry across paralegal and administrative roles. She is efficient in her work, detail-oriented and excellent at adapting to the needs of our team, the clients we support and our community.
Allison is a proud mum to her two adult children – a son and daughter – and lives in Melbourne. Rolling up her sleeves and helping her community has always been a natural part of her life, previously volunteering with the Council of Single Mothers & Their Children, and working with Sacred Heart Mission more recently.
When it comes to what she loves to do in her spare time, the simple things bring her joy; going for a walk, spending time with her family, or listening to a juicy episode of a true crime podcast. We’re smiling from ear-to-ear to have Allison in our team.
