Meet Mary! She is our speed-typing, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant, who helps us to keep everything on track at Romer Maud Family Lawyers.
Born and raised in the Philippines, Mary was always interested in systems and processes in high school, later going to study an Associate Degree in Computer Secretarial Studies. Her first role was as a secretary for a printing company, and
it was here that she learned invaluable administrative and organisational skills that she continues to use to this day.
As Mary’s career continued, she went on to work for a business process outsourcing provider that supported Australian companies, which gave her great insight into their expectations, systems and cultural differences.
Mary’s role within our firm sees her filing documentation, organising and serving documentation to other parties and completing accounting tasks such as the issuing of receipts, preparation of statements and reconciliation of accounts. It has been wonderful to watch her build key knowledge of the Australian family law system and support us with streamlined processes that allow for timely, quality outcomes for our clients.
A kind, gentle and attentive presence, she is always eager to learn more and further support our firm. With her laser sharp focus, we are very proud to have someone so naturally gifted in this role.
As a lover of the warm weather and the beautiful beaches that the Philippines are known for, Mary enjoys her spare time with her mother and her sisters’ family by the water. While she works remotely, her presence and positive impact is felt each day by our team.
