Seren Yalaz

It was Seren’s time at the Leo Cussen Institute that helped her realise her future lay within the family law sector. After being admitted to practice as a solicitor in 2018, Seren built an impressive career working across all aspects of family law, in both suburban and boutique firms.

When reflecting on the types of matters that she finds the most rewarding, Seren’s answer is clear. Supporting clients in their parenting matters to create safe, healthy outcomes for their children is her purpose.

Seren was drawn to Romer Maud by a shared focus on providing not only quality family law support, but a strategic approach to matters that minimises time, cost, and stress for families.

With a natural ability to connect with others, listen closely and respond with transparent, empathetic advice, Seren’s ability to work methodically through complex matters is a great strength to our team, and enables our clients to achieve their goals.

Born and raised in Melbourne, Seren honors her Turkish background proudly. She is a fluent Turkish speaker and writer, and has used this talent to support clients through their separation matters more confidently in their preferred language.

When not working, Seren loves spending quality time with her husband and young daughter, catching up with friends and family over lunch or enjoying a shopping spree.
